PROJECT SUMMARY

Dedicated homes for supported living.

A development of 6 new build supported living dwellings alongside a staff accommodation unit, designed for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
The project required careful planning and construction to meet specialist accessibility, safety, and anti-ligature requirements, delivering a safe and supportive living environment.

CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN

The buildings are of traditional construction, featuring:

Brick external finishes with concrete block inner walls
200mm full-fill cavity insulation
Flat roofs with single ply membrane and sedum green roofing
Trench fill foundations (upgraded due to site conditions)

External works included:

New drainage and attenuation systems
Car parking, pathways, and patios
Timber and mesh boundary fencing
Bin stores, service enclosures, and plant bases
Tree planting and landscaping
