Refurbishment of offices & 55 square feet of commercial premises
Melhuish & Saunders Ltd was appointed to deliver the comprehensive refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Dewey Waters manufacturing facility, transforming a series of existing industrial buildings and office accommodation into a modern production headquarters.
The project involved the refurbishment of six industrial buildings and two office blocks, creating purpose-built manufacturing, workshop and office facilities designed to support the client's continued growth and future operations.

CREATING MODERN MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
The refurbished industrial buildings were transformed to accommodate a range of specialist production areas.
These areas included new workshops, dedicated woodworking facilities, spray booths, storage areas and manufacturing spaces.
Alongside the production facilities, extensive staff welfare areas were created, including modern kitchens, canteen facilities, changing rooms, shower facilities and new toilet accommodation, providing improved amenities for employees.
The result is a highly functional manufacturing environment designed to support productivity while creating a safe and comfortable workplace.
OFFICE REFURBISHMENT & BUILDING SERVICES
The existing office accommodation was completely reconfigured to create modern, open-plan working environments that better reflected the client's evolving business needs.
Structural
Structural steelwork was introduced to create larger office spaces, while new meeting rooms, conference facilities, welfare areas and departmental offices were formed to support sales, production, accounts and marketing teams.
Mechanical
Throughout both the factory and office buildings, Melhuish & Saunders delivered comprehensive upgrades to the mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including new electrical distribution boards, LED lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, security systems, data installations, heating, ventilation and suspended ceilings.
These improvements have provided Dewey Waters with a modern, efficient workplace capable of supporting future growth.
